Here it is. The moment we have all been waiting for. The leaks point us in the right direction and the Seattle Kraken have come to life.
Now that we know what we know, it seems stupid to even think it was going to be anything other than the Kraken. Former Pirates of the Caribbean producer Jerry Bruckheimer is a part owner of the newest franchise and his popular movie series revealed the deadly tentacled creature.
Not only were we treated to the reveal of the team name, but we also got to see what the jersey looks like, which was a unexpected but welcomed surprise.
I mean, it's beautiful. The different shades of blue along with the small yet pivotal coral really make the logo pop. Everything comes together nicely.
I have to admit, i'm a little sad that the logo isn't a gigantic deadly looking Kraken with the Space Needle in its clutches. I was hoping for something more intricate, and I was really hoping to avoid any letters being used, but they added some interesting detail that pumps it up.
